This painting was a tribute I did for a friend Dena Wren, to honor her husband Barry Wren, who died suddenly and too soon. We had just been at his 60th birthday party and he was on top of the world. While Barry was a Texas Longhorn, his wife and daughters were all Baylor Bears. I incorporated Barry’s eyes into this Bear Saint a.k.a. Saint Barry, and the Wren bird to help watch over the Wren girls, all whom miss their loving husband and father. Everyone will miss Barry!
